PROTECT-ALL® HEAT WELDING ROD


Oscoda Plastics®, Inc. offers everything you need to properly install PROTECT-ALL Commercial Flooring.


PROTECT-ALL welding rods are used as seam fillers between PROTECT-ALL sheets to create a uniform, water-tight bond with an aesthetically-pleasing finish. Welding rods are thermal-fused using a hot air welder.


A hot air welder set at 650° - 750° F for PROTECT-ALL Matte and 600° - 650° F for PROTECT-ALL Gloss will fuse the welding rod and vinyl sheets together at the rate of one linear foot per minute. This process creates a strong bond that will last for years to come. See the chart below for heat gun settings:
